You only get charged when your store is live and Exportify is installed.
Shopify manages the recurring billing based on the plan you chose and approved when you installed Exportify.
If you pause your Shopify store, the monthly recurring charge for Exportify is automatically paused by Shopify's billing system.
If you re-open your store, the Exportify charge resumes from that point forward.
