Staff permissions for exporting
A Shopify staff member needs the Orders permission and the Apps and channels permission to open Exportify and export orders.
Anyone on your Shopify staff can use Exportify if their staff account has access to the two things it touches: orders and apps.
In your Shopify admin go to Settings, then Users and permissions, open the staff member, and make sure these are ticked:
- Orders: to see and export orders.
- Apps and channels (or Manage and install apps and channels, depending on your Shopify plan’s wording): to open Exportify from the admin.
Without the apps permission the person cannot open Exportify at all; without orders, Exportify opens but has nothing to export.
