Subtotals and quantities by product

For quantities by product use the pre-built Production Report templates; for other groupings export to Excel and use Subtotal or a pivot table; for order totals on one row per order, ask support for a first-row-only template.

Exportify exports one row per line item, or one row per order. If what you actually need is totals, there are two ways to get them.

Quantities by product with a production report

Section titled “Quantities by product with a production report”

The pre-built Production Report templates total quantities by product variant across the orders in your date range and filters, grouped by delivery or pickup date where your store has one. They are built for bakeries, florists, meal-prep and anyone who packs by product rather than by order. Choose Production Report or Production Report + Custom Fields when you run an export; no template building needed.

For any other grouping, export as Excel and use the spreadsheet:

  1. Sort by the column you want to group by, for example the product name.

  2. Subtotal. In Excel, on the Data tab choose Subtotal, group by that column and sum the quantity column. Excel inserts a subtotal row after each group and a grand total at the end. In Google Sheets, a pivot table does the same job.

If a warehouse or accounting import wants each order’s totals once rather than repeated on every line item, that is a first-row-only layout, which support builds as a support-managed template. See Support-managed templates.
