Include tracking numbers in an export

Add Tracking Company, Tracking Numbers and Tracking URLs from the Shipping and Fulfillments category to a template; fulfilled orders then export their tracking details and unfulfilled orders leave the columns empty.

Once an order has been fulfilled in Shopify, its tracking details are part of the order and Exportify can export them like any other field. Tracking numbers can arrive by hand, from Shopify Shipping, or from a shipping or fulfilment app; Exportify does not mind which.

  1. Open the template in the builder (Settings, then the template, then Edit Template).

  2. Add the fields. Under Available Fields open Shipping and Fulfillments and add Tracking Company, Tracking Numbers and, if you want them, Tracking URLs. When an order has more than one fulfilment, the values are listed together in one cell. Tracking Numbers (Excel) writes long numbers as text so Excel does not turn them into scientific notation.

  3. Save and export. Orders that are not yet fulfilled leave the tracking columns empty.

Exportify exports data from Shopify; it does not import tracking numbers into Shopify. Shopify’s own bulk fulfilment import, or your shipping app, is the tool for that.
